“Who is this?” I question, starting to get a little freaked out.
“Once you finish you will never be bothered again. First, go to your roof and jump. Second, go into your pool. Stay under for exactly five minutes, no more, no less. Third, run straight into a wall. Do them now,” it commands.
“What makes you think I'll survive the first,” I pause, “task, to do the second. Then survive the second to do the third?” No answer.
This is insane, I think to myself. Why am I even doing this? I make my way around the house and onto my roof. I walk to the edge and stop. “I'm crazy,” I tell my self as I take a flying leap off the ledge. I brace for impact, but it never comes. I open my eyes and find myself hovering a few feet above the ground. I straighten and land softly on my feet. “Huh,” I mutter, “never have noticed that before.” I then walk over to my pool and jump in feet first.
The cold hits me and I start to shiver. I wonder what will happen first? Death by no oxygen or hypothermia. You have a serious problem. I continue the weird conversation in my head, and before I know it the five minutes is up. Don't ask me how I know it's been five minutes, I just do. I walk back in the house and change into some dry clothes. I then look at my phone to see if there has been anymore activity, I then prepare for my last task.
I take a running start, and aim for the middle of my kitchen wall. What can I say, I'm not surprised when I go through it. I turn around and try again. Wham! “I guess it's a one time policy,” I mutter, rubbing my sore nose. I go back to my room and look at my phone.
“Bella. Bella, honey wake up,” it says. That's when I open my eyes to find my mom hovering above me.
“Mom, I had the weirdest dream ever.”
